Working with Puzzle Pro 3.1 / The Layout Mode / Paths' HOWTOs
To edit a Path, you should manipulate (select, move, add and remove) anchor point(s). You should manipulate them directly in the Preview area of the Path palette. The instructions on how to operate anchor points are listed below:

Tip: if, while manipulating the anchor point(s), you find that the preview area becomes too small for the Path that you edit, then use the 1:2 or 1:4 Zoom Out radio buttons, located on the Path palette.

Note: the maximum number of anchor points that a path can contain is limited to 64.

Note: while manipulating the anchor points the standard Ctrl+Z (Windows) or Command+Z (Mac OS X) keyboard shortcut does NOT undo your last action in the Preview area. To undo, you should use the Undo button located on the Path palette. (Accordingly, the Redo button should be used to redo your action.)

Note: if you think that the blue square dots that represent the anchor points and the pale green rectangle that represents the anchor points' bounding box, hinder you when creating the knife's Path, then you can hide only anchor points, or both the anchor points and the Bounding Box at once. To do that, right-click on a free space in the Preview area of the Path palette and deselect accordingly Show anchor points or Show Extras menu items. To make them visible, just select the same menu items again.

Note: for your convenience, there are a number of service commands that are reachable from the popup menu, when you right-click on a free space in the Preview area of the Path palette, such as the following: Align Top, Align Bottom, Align Vertical Center, Align Horizontal Center, Align Left and Align Right plus Distribute Vertically and Distribute Horizontally. Any of these commands, will affect the selected anchor points. The actions they execute are clear from the commands names. For example, the Align Top command aligns all selected anchor points, using the topmost anchor point as the reference point.
